Algers Winslow and Western (AWW)

This was a small coal hauler railroad located in southern Indiana serving an open strip mining operation. The line operated 16 miles of track between Enosville and Cato Indiana. The headquarters and shops, as such, were located in Oakland City, IN where these photos were taken in May 1969.

The AW&W interchanged with the New York Central and Southern in Oakland City.

The following photos were taken by Robert Cox and show AW&W current power.
