I reached into my box of slides and pulled out the L&N group. I have four days worth of these.

While going thought pilot training in southern Georgia, I would drive to Birmingham AL on the weekends to take photos. With gas costing less than 30 cent a gallon it was not a big deal. I managed to put 65000 miles on my car in two years. The joint L&N/SCL yard was one of the many stops I made in the city. While going through C-130 training I was based SE of Nashville.
